The Charlton Snowmobile Club was started in1971 and  Inc. in 1973. The club maintains and grooms 51 miles of trail from Coons Crossing near Round Lake, north and west along the Zim Smith multi use trail, near  Ballston Lake, westerly  through the Village of Charlton and continuing west toward Amsterdam and northwest through the towns of Galway and Broadalbin to the Sacandaga Resevoir.
Club meetings are held at the Charlton Freehold Presbytarian Church in Charlton  first Tuesday of the month [with the exception of election day when the meeting moves to the next day; Wednesday], from October through April.
The Club trails exist only due to the generous donation of the use of public and private property by our landowners. When you ride, remember it is a priviledge, not a right.TRAIL

Spring Adopt a Highway

Thank you to Bill Cook, Dick Schultz, and Jim Waite for doing the Adopt a Highway. The weather was good and we were done in 1.5 hours. Doing this is good PR for the Club by putting us in a positive light.
